Burning River Advisory Group Chosen to Participate in Developing A Civil Society Delegation

Cleveland, OH (April 1, 2016) – On Monday, April 4th, a delegation of 25 international visitors from Africa will meet with Burning River Advisory Group to discuss the challenges women face with financial planning and best practices for helping women develop financial skills.  The “Developing a Civil Society” delegation, hosted by the Cleveland Council on World Affairs, and sponsored by the US State Department, will explore how Burning River Advisory Group is helping women increase their financial knowledge and ability to make sound financial decisions.

“Burning River Advisory Group is honored to welcome the delegates of ‘Developing a Civil Society.’  Now more than ever, women need to make smart, goal-driven financial decisions.  The ramifications of making poor financial decisions can be far reaching.  It is critically important women learn how to advocate for themselves financially and to align themselves with those who can advocate for them,” notes Mr. Vargo about the pending visit.

Burning River Advisory Group (BRAG) is dedicated to helping women become better stewards of their financial affairs, most notably specializing in women experiencing a life event (retirement, divorce, widowhood).  BRAG is passionate about helping women live happier, more fulfilled lives.  They advocate for “all of her” – her goals, her dreams, her aspirations – not just her money.  Their holistic approach has been instrumental in instilling confidence in their clients as they move assuredly towards a life fulfilled.

“It is quite exciting.  This is the perfect opportunity to extend our teachings of empowerment and financial independence in a far greater way, in a way that will benefit generations of women in Africa.  It truly is a great honor; we could not be happier to participate,” states Melana Carbary about the “Developing a Civil Society” visit.
